The Unfinished God

Now something in the deepest levels is waking up. He can feel it in the stone. So can everyone around him. Whatever Hephaestus was building down there, he never finished it. And Marcus can't ignore it.

Problem is, the rest of the world has opinions about what he's sitting on. A scholarly delegation arrives to politely explain that the forge belongs to them. Diplomatic smiles. Reasonable arguments. And at least one person in the group who isn't what they claim to be.

Meanwhile, the prison holding the Titans is cracking faster than anyone predicted. And the thing pushing against the walls from the inside? Marcus is starting to think even the Titans didn't put it there.

Some problems, an engineer can solve. Others require picking up where a god left off.
